Abstract

Objective. The purpose of the article is to analyze the factors affecting the status and level of migration processes in Ukraine. Methods. In the course of the research the methods of comparison and generalization (to provide information on the volume of migration processes in Ukraine) are used. The graphical method is used to visualize the dynamics of changes in the number of migrants from Ukraine and the distribution of emigration of Ukrainian citizens by country. The methods of synthesis and concretization are used to identify and analyze the main factors that influence the status and level of migration processes in Ukraine. Induction and clustering techniques have been used to summarize factors that influence the status and level of migration processes in Ukraine. Methods of specification and abstraction are used in determining the main factors of attractiveness and popularity of countries for migration among Ukrainian citizens. Results. According to the results of the research, the main factors of migration processes in Ukraine are identified. The list of the most popular countries for migration among Ukrainian citizens is specified. The dynamics of changes in the number of migrants from Ukraine in the period from 2000 to 2019 is analyzed. The classification features for the grouping of factors of migration flows in Ukraine are specified. It is proposed to distinguish psychological, personality and socio-psychological factors as separate factors influencing the status and level of migration processes in Ukraine. The basic factors of emigration of Ukrainian citizens to other countries are substantiated. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of their use in the formation of the legal framework of Ukraine and the development of mechanisms for the implementation of a set of measures of migration policy to reduce emigration flows from the country and attracting foreign migrants to Ukraine at the state and regional levels.
