Abstract
Information technologies in education of the XXI century are considered in the work. Attention is paid to the principles of forming an electronic textbook of the future. The role of visualization in education and the necessity of its transformation with the development of information technologies, as a language not only of communication, but also the transfer and understanding of information, are emphasized. The role of STEAM technologies has been revealed, and their examples have shown their curiosity and practicality. Attention is paid to the dynamics of this area and its spread to different disciplines. The role of speech and speech competences in general and the role of information technologies in their formation are investigated.
