The article is devoted to the study of dynamics and structure of international tourist arrivals to European countries, analysis of their current state and improvement directions determination. The European Tourist Region is the world leader in terms of tourist arrivals and revenues, which creates a role for a comprehensive study of the structural dynamics of the contemporary market of tourist and recreational services in Europe, in order to find optimal strategies for integration into the European tourist space. The main scientific results of the study were obtained using a set of general scientific and special methods of research, namely: abstract-logical (to determine the main tendencies and directions of optimization of international tourist flows in Europe), statistical method (for processing and analysis of information on the number of international tourism participants), system analysis and synthesis (to determine the features of the development of tourist flows in Europe), abstract-theoretical method (for theoretical generalization and conclusions drawing).
