Abstract

The study the necessity of transformation management tools for regional management in accordance with the specific post-industrial development of the regional economy. The impact of modern technology leads to changes in the paradigm of territory that from the physical placement of the base of economic activity turns into an economic space that is defined by the following characteristics: globalized spatial information system; environment that is created during the interaction of economic activity; the interaction network of socio_economic actors, characterized by horizontal architectonics capacity for self_organization and self_development, increasing synergetic effect. Identification of areas of regional economic development and appropriate management tools based on regional management of spatial typology of regional development. In modern conditions of formation of the network economy in Ukraine, based spatial typology of regions entrusted criteria: economic and geographical position of the region in the national economic space; the degree of occurrence of the region in the global economy; nature of the interaction of economic agents in the region. In accordance with the specific spatial development of regions defines the main directions of development.
