Abstract

Objective. To analyze the foreign students teaching features in Ukrainian universities to identify problems and identify ways to solve them. Methods. The main research results are obtained applying the complex general scientific and special methods of investigation: systematization and generalization, theoretical generalization, analysis and synthesis. Results. The modern stage of society development is characterized by high competition in the educational services market. The foreign students attraction to study at Ukrainian higher educational institutions is universities’ priority area and promotes their competitiveness. The foreign citizens training has become an effective factor in the economic growth of both educational institutions and Ukraine. Ukrainian higher education has a number of competitive advantages, namely: creating a high level education experience; foreign students teaching experience; education foundation; educational services low cost etc. But there are factors that restrain Ukrainian educational services export, in connection with which it is necessary to pay attention to increasing language training level of foreign students and on the peculiarities of their adaptation and living in conditions of Ukrainian realities. Ukrainian education attracts foreign students for four reasons: high quality; prestige and a reasonable price for training; low cost of living; the same rights and freedoms for foreigners as for Ukrainian citizens. But foreign students training is one of the most important psychological and pedagogical problems in the international education field. It should be noted that compared to Ukrainian students, foreign students experience more serious difficulties with adapting to university studies, they have greater stress during their students’ life. In the article the foreign students training theoretical knowledge is summarized, the regulatory documents governing the stay, training and work of foreign students are analyzed, and the main problems and difficulties of their studies in Ukrainian educational institutions are identified.
