Abstract

The dynamics and balance of international tourist flows in Ukraine are analyzed. An estimation of dynamics and structure of outgoing and inbound tourist flows depending on the motivation of the trip is conducted. The volume and structure of tourist flows of Ukraine by countries of origin are considered. The main tendencies of development of international tourism in Ukraine are outlined. External tourism activity of Ukraine is ineffective. It is confirmed by the excess of outgoing tourist flows over the entrance. In the motivational structure of external tourist flows of Ukraine, private tourism prevails. The decline in the rate of tourism development since 2014 is marked by the instability of the political situation, the military conflict in the East, the deterioration of the socio-economic situation. The changes in the spatial structure of the tourist flows of Ukraine to the predominance of the countries of the European Union have changed. Outbound tourism has grown through labor migration. Recommendations for the restoration of the international tourist flow of Ukraine provided. It is necessary to stabilize the situation in the East of the country, promote the development of European integration processes and attract investments in the development of tourism infrastructure, improve the quality of tourist services.
