Abstract

The aim of the article is to determine the current state and challenges of the information support system of the tourism industry; development of proposals for improving the structure of tourist information support. Methods. This article is based on the method of analysis and synthesis, the use of which helps to identify the problems and prospects of development of modern information technologies in tourism, as well as the method of critical analysis by which the expediency of improving the system of information support of tourism in Ukraine is yustified. Results. The regulatory and legal framework to ensure the information support of the tourism industry is analysed. On the based of the analysis the shortcomings of regulatory and legal framework for the development of information technologies in tourism are deduced. The ways of improving the information support of tourism in Ukraine are offered.
