Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the features of economic development of the Middle Eastern countries, to identify the main trends, problems and prospects of development. The article investigates the peculiarities of economic development of the Middle East countries, the main trends, problems and prospects of development. Methods. The solution of the problems investigated in the article is carried out by such scientific and special research methods applying as analysis and synthesis, generalization and systematization, the dialectical approach. Results. The basic economic characteristics of the Middle East are determined. The problems of the countries in the context of globalization are identified. The main prospects for economic development in the Middle East are presented. The impact of political factors on the level of economic development of the countries of the region, identifying promising areas of development are stated.
