Abstract

At this stage of development of modern science there are different approaches to determining the essence of innovation potential, but the characteristics of individual stages of the life cycle of the innovative potential of tourism enterprises are not investigated. Investigation of innovative potential of tourist enterprises should answer questions about its specificity at different stages of its existence: formation, accumulation, development, use. In this regard, it is expedient to apply the theory of the life cycle. The life cycle model is an important tool for effective diagnostics to eliminate the current problems of further development in the enterprise. It is used to describe the processes of development of economic systems, on its basis, an analysis of factors that increase their effectiveness. The life cycle of innovation potential contains five main stages, which have certain patterns and distinctive features of the behavior of the tourist enterprise: the formation, development, accumulation, use, revival.
