Abstract

The «human capital» concept development characterizes the transition from an economy in which the main elements were considered to be tools and objects of labor to the knowledge economy, the main engine of which is a person, and its quality as the engine of production and economic systems change. It is important to understand the differences between human capital and personnel, labor and labor resources, as well as differences in the characteristics of the economic categories competitiveness. The competition and competitiveness concept views change in the historical aspect is researched. An analysis of the «human capital» concept was carried out, its differences from the concepts of «personnel», «labor force», «labor resources» were determined. The meaningful definition of the «human capital competitiveness» concept is summarized and provided with the use of human capital theory results and the economic category of «competitiveness» evolution study and the relevance of its interpretation to historical economic conditions. An analysis of human capital competitiveness international indicators and their completeness is carried out. Based on this analysis, the main factors that influence the human capital competitiveness are identified
