Abstract
In the article the stages of application of information and communication technologies in the process of graphic preparation are considered; It was found out that for effective formation of professional competence it is necessary after studying descriptive geometry and engineering graphics, or in parallel perform work, using modern graphic programs. The author focuses on the fact that students must understand the possibilities of an integrated combination of traditional and innovative technologies that will provide training for professionals capable of solving professional problems.
