Abstract
The article proposes and tests the methodology for determining the innovation status of regions on the example of enterprises of the tourism industry. Consideration of the innovative potential of the company as a subsystem of the regional economic system is based on the analysis of indicators of innovation development of these enterprises. As a result, the main stages of assessing the innovation status of the regions of enterprises in the tourism industry are formulated: the definition of indicators for assessing the innovation status of enterprises; creation of an actual information base; automation and calculation of qualitative and quantitative indicators of innovation status of enterprises; making a decision on the innovation status of the region based on the rating of enterprises
