Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the NBU operations during 2015-2017. in the light of exchange rate policy. The hryvnia exchange rate is analyzed and the consequences of unstable fluctuations of the national currency unit are described. Specific features of the exchange rate policy instruments that were used by the NBU during the analyzed period are determined. The main tasks in the field of foreign exchange policy to ensure stabilization of the situation in the foreign exchange market are generanalized and elaborated
