Abstract

The purpose of the paper is the determining the priority directions, the mechanism of modernization of Ukraine’s innovation infrastructure under of globalization conditions. The essence of the concept «modernization of innovation infrastructure», «mechanism of modernization of innovation infrastructure», main elements of the mechanism of modernization of innovation infrastructure, including priority directions of modernization of Ukraine’s innovation infrastructure were determined. The conceptual scheme of the mechanism of innovation infrastructure modernization was presented. The state and peculiarities of the development of Ukraine’s innovation infrastructure in 2008–2017 were characterized. So, analysis of the state and peculiarities of the development of Ukraine’s innovation infrastructure in 2008–2017 made it possible to establish that at the present stage of development of Ukraine’s innovation infrastructure is not only fragmentary (fixed significant disproportions and asymmetries between elements of innovation infrastructure, not all possible elements of innovation infrastructure are created and operate in Ukraine), but also shows a steady negative trend of development — the number of elements of innovation infrastructure is constantly shrinking, the level of innovation. Іn addition, It was founded that the mechanism of innovation infrastructure modernization is a complex dynamic system of goals, principles, methods, tools for bringing the state and parameters of the functioning of the innovation infrastructure in line with the current state and requirements of the environment surrounding. The main principles of innovation infrastructure modernization are: the system of transformations, scientific substantiation, efficiency, directionality, transparency, priority of product and process innovations Priority directions of modernization of innovation infrastructure: 1. Optimization of the architecture of Ukraine’s innovation infrastructure. 2. Optimization of the regional, branch structure of the innovation infrastructure. 3. Provision of permanent and self-propagating development of innovation infrastructure. 4. Ensuring the competitiveness of Ukraine’s innovation infrastructure. 5. Integration of Ukraine’s Innovation Infrastructure into the Global Chain of Creation of Innovative Value. 6. Formation of an innovative infrastructure for the institutional environment favorable to development. 7. Creation of an effective national system of motivation and stimulation of innovation infrastructure development.
